Celtic Heritage Gifts Returns & Refund Policy

At Celtic Heritage Gifts, we want every customer to be happy with their purchase. If you need to return an item, please read our policy carefully before sending anything back.

Requesting a Return

Before returning any item, customers must contact us by email at:

orders@celticheritagegifts.ie

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Proof of purchase/receipt

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • The reason for your return

Once your request has been reviewed, we will provide return instructions.

Items returned without contacting us first may experience significant processing delays and may not be accepted if they do not meet our returns conditions.

Change of Mind Returns (Online Orders)

Customers purchasing online have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving their goods in accordance with EU consumer regulations.

After notifying us of your decision to cancel, goods must be returned within the required timeframe.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused and unworn

  • In their original condition

  • Returned with all original packaging, inserts, tags and accessories where applicable

Customers are responsible for ensuring items are packaged securely for return postage.

Return Postage Costs

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to us.

We strongly recommend using a tracked postal service, as Celtic Heritage Gifts cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Original postage costs are non-refundable except where required by law.

If your order qualified for free delivery, the original delivery cost covered by Celtic Heritage Gifts may be deducted from your refund where permitted by applicable consumer law.

Condition of Returned Goods

Returned goods are inspected once received.

We reserve the right to reduce or refuse a refund where an item:

  • Has been used or worn

  • Is damaged after delivery due to customer handling

  • Is missing parts, packaging or accessories

  • Is not returned in a resaleable condition

Customers are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.

A restocking and handling fee of up to 25% may apply where permitted by law to cover costs associated with inspection, repackaging, administration, or diminished product value.

Items returned damaged due to poor packaging or customer misuse will not be refunded.

Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges where possible, subject to stock availability.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Returning the original item

  • Paying the postage fee for the replacement item to be sent out

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible at:

orders@celticheritagegifts.ie

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where possible.

Faulty items will be handled in accordance with Irish and EU consumer protection laws.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

Please allow reasonable processing time after your return has been received and inspected.

Celtic Heritage Gifts reserves the right to decline refunds that do not comply with this policy or where the return falls outside customers’ statutory rights.
